Jeff Pokonosky, President
Jeff brings the vision and energy to WiggleWireless. His 18-plus years of experience in the wireless industry has taught Jeff how to drive a groundbreaking technology to established success. While working as a senior business manager at QUALCOMM, Jeff realized that the technology wave of the future was mobile marketing. He knew the ability and opportunity to deliver interesting, requested information directly to consumers wherever they might be was a concept too good to pass up. So he started a company that is now creating the standard in personal wireless content delivery.
Before launching WiggleWireless, Jeff held positions in business development, management, sales and marketing with QUALCOMM, Kyocera Wireless Corporation, Nokia Mobile Phones and SBC. He has negotiated multi-million dollar handset contracts with wireless carriers and negotiated and executed a wireless network infrastructure contract valued at $450 million while at QUALCOMM. Within Jeff’s area of responsibility, annual revenues increased by 44 percent, from $80 million to over $115 million. He also secured a $10 million Wireless Local Loop contract, the largest in QUALCOMM’s history. While at Nokia, Jeff managed carrier, retail and distributor channels and executed a sales incentive program that increased sales by 80 percent.
